VetBalance for Cats

We have received a number of questions regarding a Feline Wellness Formula of VetBalance since the HOPE for Pets brand had a feline formula.

I had a conversation with Dr. Bill about this not too long ago. First of all the HOPE product is no longer available. When ITV went out of business the product line known as "HOPE for Pets" went with it. According to Dr. Bill, it was ITV that wanted a feline formula when they private labeled it for the infomercial market. Even though there were some minor differences in the formulation between the dog and cat formulas for HOPE, there isn't enough difference to justify two products today. The original product did not and still does not have a feline formula and there is no plan to produce one at this time. Dr. Bill recommends using the same product in the same dosages for both dogs and cats.

Message: I used to use HOPE for felines. I purchased VetBalance, but it says that it is the Canine formula. Is this OK to give to my cats? They had amazing results on the HOPE. Also, are you coming out with a formula for cats? Thank you

Thanks Jeff - That's what I'm doing right now, but was just checking to see if it was OK. My cats seem to be doing just as well on this as on HOPE. Carol P.
